Ask me anything   I’m not an illustrator. I’m not a comic artist. I’m not a colorist. I’m not an animator. I’m not a photographer. I’m not a sculptor. I’m not a painter. I’m not a writer. I’m not a typographer. I’m not a graphic designer. I’m not a programmer or a web designer. I’m really not much of anything. This stream cannot fix what I am not.
But I am a creative - whatever that word really means. I hope to understand what it means, and not regret a single misplaced line or lack of skillful execution, or even a typo. I ask you to join me on this journey.

(in progress… excerpt)

My face wears
every crinkle, every crevice.
Lines wander from corner to corner.

Each line carves
a finite bounty of memories.
each pore pulled
taught and released.

Every dark circle
another late night spent
on emotional adventures.
Bleak or happy, my face does not care.

It only cares to show that I have lived.
And it is a life worth living.

SHAKESPEARE WROTE THAT ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE.

HIS THEATER WAS CALLED THE GLOBE.

NOT ONLY WAS THAT LINE PHILOSOPHICAL AND DEEP,

BUT IT WAS ALSO A FUCKING PUN.

ALSO REMEMBER THE FAMOUS LINE FROM ROMEO & JULIET:

"A ROSE BY ANY OTHER NAME WOULD SMELL AS SWEET"

THE RIVAL THEATRE WAS CALLED THE ROSE

AND THEY HAD A SEWAGE PROBLEM

NOT JUST A BEAUTIFUL LINE BUT ALSO A PUN AND WILLY SHAKES THROWING SHADE

It tears me apart that I got this wonderfully honest expression while practicing head shots in natural light, but my tripod is so rickety that the shutter flicking caused the whole thing to move JUST enough that at full size, it’s blurry and not appropriate outside of screen view.
