Ask me anything   I’m not an illustrator. I’m not a comic artist. I’m not a colorist. I’m not an animator. I’m not a photographer. I’m not a sculptor. I’m not a painter. I’m not a writer. I’m not a typographer. I’m not a graphic designer. I’m not a programmer or a web designer. I’m really not much of anything. This stream cannot fix what I am not.
But I am a creative - whatever that word really means. I hope to understand what it means, and not regret a single misplaced line or lack of skillful execution, or even a typo. I ask you to join me on this journey.

One of my projects for Uni. We had to find a pattern in the world. I chose to instead take and existing structural pattern and juxtapose it with something it might not be associated with.
Using the beginning format of a haiku, I went through all of the London Underground rail stations per line to see if any stations create the syllabic pattern. There were 11.
The book and dust jacket are printed on Japanese Washi. Simple japanese stab stitch, and the book is cloth bound. Book is 5x7 using a 5x7 grid.
The map is the dust jacket containing only the stations which comprise the ‘haikus’ in the book.
Type used: Johnston, Mrs. Eaves italic
BTW: Cloth binding on light weight board is the devil and needs to die in a fire.
